Mobile Fleet Reliability Technician

Reporting to the Mobile Fleet Reliability Coordinator in the Mobile Fleet Maintenance Team, this role aims to ensure that the mobile fleet vehicles are repaired, serviced, and maintained as per the manufacturer’s service and repair standards. Additionally, the Technician will ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained adequately and remain in good, safe operational condition.

Main Skills and Responsibilities:

  •  To act on all incidents and repairs to all mobile fleet vehicles on site.
  • Report on the repair and damage investigated on each vehicle.
  • Contribute to reporting or resolving incidents, near misses and accidents using the adverse event reporting tool.

Skills Essential for the Role:

  • NVQ 1, 2, & 3 or City and Guild in mechanical engineering.
  • Diagnostic skills in fault finding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
  • Good knowledge of FLT’s ideally gained through a combination of a formal apprenticeship.
  • Established skills in service, maintenance and repairs of FLT’s, diagnostics, welding, electrics and hydraulics.
  • Desirable - Experience within a workshop/ field environment.   
  •  Desirable - FLT driving licence

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm
