Demand Planning Administrator

As a Demand Planner Administrator, you will support in maintaining the forecast performance and the supply plan information flow for the business unit. You will be tasked to prepare, analyse, forecast weekly analysis using statistical forecasting. And to strategically coordinate and schedule various aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring that resources, materials are efficiently utilised to meet all production targets.

Responsibilities:

§       To develop and maintain the demand forecasts for aluminium product categories.

§  Analyse historical sales data and market trends.

§      Analyse the lead times for procurement and production to ensure timely product availability.

§      Participate in Sales and Operations Planning meetings to align with demand forecasts and production and supply plans.

§      Monitor and adjust production schedules to support the planning team.

§     Optimise the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, to maximise production efficiency while minimising costs and lead times.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining production planning and schedules.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
  • The ability to work with large datasets.
  • Familiar with statistical forecasting methods.
  • Proficient with demand planning software such as SAP, Oracle and Excel.
  • Desirable – degree educated in Math’s, Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

 

Working hours:               Monday to Friday 36.25 hours (Flexi-time)

Salary range:                    £27,000 to £29,000 per annum

Reporting to:                    Production Planning Manager
