Making Sparks Fly... Again!

Bridgnorth Aluminium Limited was, once again, proud to play its part in making one of Bridgnorth’s largest annual community events a success. Every year, thousands of people gather to watch Bridgnorth’s much-anticipated Bonfire & Fireworks Extravaganza, which raises vital money to support one of Bridgnorth’s most successful community sporting clubs, Bridgnorth Rugby Club.

To show our support for Bridgnorth Rugby Club and the Bridgnorth community, Bridgnorth Aluminium Limited made a major donation of £5,000 towards the event, which enabled the club to purchase the evening’s firework supply.

Regarding our support, Fran Spicer, Bridgnorth Rugby Club's Treasurer, said:

“We are incredibly grateful for the financial support from Bridgnorth Aluminium Limited towards our greatest fund-raiser of the year. The event now sees in the region of 4000 people through its gates, both local residents and people from the wider area, including visitors from Telford and Wolverhampton. It is an amazing community evening, enjoyed by all, which would not be possible without Bridgnorth Aluminium Limited’s sponsorship”

This year’s Bonfire & Fireworks Extravaganza was a record success, attended by upwards of 3,500 people. All profits go into Bridgnorth Rugby Club's funds, enabling it to continue regularly fielding four senior men’s teams (including the highly successful first team), a strong ladies team, a thriving colt’s team, and a flourishing mini and junior section.
