The Logistics Containerisation Operator - Temporary 6 month FTC reports directly to the Section Leader on a day-to-day basis. The role sits within the Logistic Area/Department within our business and will function as part of an efficient and productive team to operate the machinery and plant in the Area/Department. You will work as a member of a shift in all aspects of the Area/Department; whether this being to ensure the safe, correct and efficient preparation and loading of coils for containerisation. Through, effective organisation, good practice and adherence to the current procedure. To load and unload vehicles and move coils as required. To pack coils when necessary and to recover scrap metal using the rewind machine, to which in turn must meet the required specification and level of quality using the plant and equipment within the department as instructed; to meet with our customers’ expectations.
